01 · Context
An open-source platform in the Cardano ecosystem
Catalyst Voices is the open-source Flutter Web app of Project Catalyst, where the Cardano community submits funding proposals and votes on them. IOHK built it, and it is now maintained under the Cardano Foundation. RSApps worked on it as a core contributor from late 2024 to February 2026.
02 · Problem
A large web app that had to stay fast and grow
Several engineers worked in one multi-package codebase. Proposal authors fill in long, template-driven documents, the app had to stay fast in the browser, and it was being extended from web to mobile.
03 · What I did
Features across the app, and its web delivery
RSApps worked on the product features and on how the app reaches the browser.
- The proposal builder and its template-driven form inputs, from plain and rich text to dates, dropdowns and links
- Discovery, campaign categories, the workspace and role-based navigation
- Co-proposer collaboration, and ballot building and casting in the voting flow
- Web performance: profiling, sliver-based lists, a progressive splash loader, content-hashed web asset versioning for reliable cache invalidation, cache-control tuning and a new-version banner
- Android and iOS configuration for the web-first app, and integration tests with flutter_driver

Work you can read line by line
The whole codebase is public on GitHub, so every change behind this case study can be reviewed in the repository and its pull requests rather than taken on trust.
